Decided on Kalins after getting 5 estimates (over the phone) for a 50 gallon hot water heater replacement. I appreciated being put in touch with a knowledgeable technician rather than dealing with a salesperson. They fit us in within a day. From start to finish they underscored commitment to quality. They clearly delivered on that commitment. Rick and Brady installed the new unit. They wore booties and used drop cloths from the front door to the utility room to protect flooring and a rubber boot around the old unit to avoid spills. Rick reviewed the installation with me and answered all my questions. No surprise costs. Some finishing touches that impressed me was bracketing the new expansion tank to the wall, a drain pan with pipe to floor drain, moisture sensor and carbon monoxide/ explosive gas detector. The way they leveled the new unit was much more pleasing than leveling of the original unit.
